How to Lose Wrist, Hand, Finger and Thumb Fat Fast
Many of us have thicker wrist than people around us. This could be due to the bone structure which also determines the fingers or thumb size or due to our being overweight. Losing weight also shows on the wrist and fingers with bracelets and rings turning a little lose. Overall weight loss will help in reducing the weights in these parts.
It’s not possible to shrink your hands but they can be toned and strengthened, right exercise and diet is the key to weight loss. Exercise more and eat fewer calories. This will aid in a weight loss in the whole body and also in the wrists and fingers. Practical methods will help you to get shapely wrists and fingers.
Typing is one of the best exercises for your fingers. Just start on the typing tests online or download a free tutorial. This is perhaps the best form of exercise for fingers and help you burn calories and the more you type the more you will burn. But ensure that you have a good support or else you may develop carpel tunnel syndrome.
A screwdriver or a door knob could be the best tool to exercise the wrists. With a firm grip turn them several times by alternating between both hands. This could be repeated till the wrists are tired but care should be taken not to overdo it.
Tighten the fist and then slowly release fingers one by one. This if repeated for 5-10 times can help strengthen wrist muscles. Barbells can also be used for wrist extension exercises. Push-up is another option. There are few advance exercises too but if you do not have strong wrists they should be completely avoided.
It is very important that a good warm up precede each of these exercises. Rotation of the hands in both directions in circular motions is a great warm up exercise. Stretching is equally good. Interlacing the fingers and extending the arms in front is good for stretching both the wrist and hand muscles. With one hand the fingers of the other hand could be pulled backwards followed by the thumb if more stretching is required. But this should be done with care as it can easily strain the hand and wrist muscles.
Hands are perhaps the most important part of the body and thus care should be taken that you do not overdo any of these exercises. Rest between workouts will give those aching muscles a break. If you have a pain or you feel strain discontinue at once. Wrist, fingers and hand can be easily toned by losing weight on all parts of the body.
